This is a very awkward site with a stunning westerly views across Clanaborough bay at Bigbury-on-Sea. After prolonged discussions and resubmissions with the planners a scheme was approved and work soon began.
The scheme is for two four bedroom maisonettes with balconies to enjoy the stunning views. The houses will be constructed using a SIPS system, (Structural Insulated Panels), so very efficient and quick to erect. The build programme was an issue as we had a huge amount of enabling and ground works to perform to ready the site for the house.
Gabion walls and concrete retaining walls needed to be erected and huge volumes of stone needed to be excavated from the site.
